Since its founding in 1890, the ARF has both guided and reflected the aspirations of the Armenian people and the trauma they have experienced. Thus, a study of the history of the party is also a study of the Armenian nation over the past 130+ years. You cannot understand one without the other.

Over the years, portions of the archives have been cataloged and microfilmed. In the last year, thousands of photographs were scanned and cataloged. The archives of the First Republic are also being digitized and cataloged. All this material, and more, will be accessible through the website. While significant work has been accomplished thus far, there is much more yet to do. Tax-deductible donations to support the work of the ARF Archives can be made through the Armenian Cultural Association of America.
