  1. Dear Mr. Proudian and Members of the ARF Archives Committee,

With great interest I watched the video presentation and wished my father were alive to witness the wonderful work that is being done to preserve and organize documents of one of the most important periods of our history. Indeed the video was a window into this world.

I congratulate all those who volunteered their time or gave of their time to this invaluable project. Bravo! It was particularly moving for me to see Ung. Arshavir’s right hand while I remembered him in his study in New Jersey, pulling out from the bookshelf a copy of his memoirs and gifting it to us, in his humble yet proud manner. At his funeral attended by close ungers and family when his body was cremated, I heard the whisper about his right hand, yet had not seen it. The video made it possible. Thank you.

While watching the video, I thought of volunteering my time to help out in this endless work, I saw that there are young people who are doing it already.

One concern I had was about the security of making this public, yet heard that all security measures were taken.

I have one suggestion and that is to replace the map of Armenia and Artsakh from the background of the video by a current map showing the combined territories of Artsakh to Armenia.

    Thank you again,

    Meline’
